Research interests: Theoretical physics, mathematical biology, and pure analysis

Dave completed his MMath degree in mathematics at the University of Oxford, with interest in a range of areas such as theoretical physics, mathematical biology, and pure analysis. During his final year of study in Oxford, he focused more on mathematical biology and he wishes to pursue this interest further in MIGSAA. While he sees himself staying in academia after he completes his doctoral studies, he is excited about the opportunities of working with MIGSAA’s industrial partners. Outside of mathematics, Dave enjoys playing funk/jazz music and running and he looks forward to these activities during his stay in Scotland.
