Maria  Lefter obtained her degree certificate in Mathematics from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in Spain. There, she developed a special interest in analysis during her  final project in Fractional Derivatives.  She continued her studies with the Msc Financial Modelling and Optimization at the University of Edinburgh where her dissertation project focused on the theory of Mean Field Games and the Master Equation. Her aim during the first year at MIGSAA is to pursue further studies in stochastic analysis, particularly the theory of the SPDEs.  Her interests outside Mathematics include artistical drawing with charcoal, swimming and spending time with her family.
