Xander completed an integrated undergraduate Masters degree in Mathematics at the University of St Andrews, mainly focusing on the applied side of Mathematics. Within this applied side he specifically studied Mathematical Biology, Solar Theory and Fluid Dynamics, with a final year dissertation project on Numerical Methods for ODEs and PDEs which compliments the Mathematical Biology. Outside of Mathematics, Xander is a keen athlete, enjoying most sports, especially swimming and running.
