Mildred got her BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Ghana. She continued to attain an MSc in Mathematical Sciences from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences, where she developed an interest in computational mathematics especially numerical analysis. She did a project on bifurcation analysis of the reaction-diffusion equation with a parameter. She hopes to learn more about numerical analysis and stochastic partial differential equations in her first year in MIGSAA.  Outside mathematics, Mildred is very involved in music and dance.
