Michele holds a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Dundee. As undergraduate he focused on the geometrical and topological aspects of incompressible fluid flows. He spent a year in Germany and attended the SMI summer school in Italy, where he was exposed to some rigorous analysis of PDEs. He now would like to combine the two areas of research and he's excited about the possibilities that MIGSAA offers in this sense. 

Outside mathematics, Michele likes to run and mountaineering.
