Cassie completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Dundee. Her final project used time-splitting spectral methods to find approximate solutions to the Schrödinger equation in one dimension. She looks forward to learning more of the many applications mathematics has to the real world and finding a problem to study in depth with MIGSAA. She enjoys reading to her cat, cooking and occasionally wondering 'what would Worf do?'.
