Andrew studied Mathematics and Physics at Cardiff University for his Undergraduate degree before completing his Masters in Applied Mathematics at the University of Dundee. His main interests are in mathematical biology and population dynamics with a particular interest in the long term dynamics that arise due to species interaction and the influence of disease on population levels and he hopes that his work can help inform debates in wildlife conservation. Outside of academia, Andrew has a layman's interest in politics and global affairs as well as an interest in watching almost any sporting event.
