Professor Ruth King, the Thomas Bayes Chair of Statistics at the University of Edinburgh, has been appointed as the next Director of the Bayes Centre. Ruth will take over from Michael Rovatsos in August 2023 and will hold the post for an initial five years, sharing her time between Bayes and Mathematics.
