Charles Egan

People Details

Student, Year 1
5.20 Bayes Centre

During his masters in Mathematics at University College London, Charlie looked at problems in acoustic scattering using boundary integral methods within a relevant Sobolev space framework. His interest in acoustic scattering and functional analysis stemmed from a love of music and sound. He is currently involved in a project called Meta-Harmony which aims to shed light on the nature of Western music harmony through the use of geometry and graph theory. Charlie plays drums and mandolin and is looking forward to getting involved in the music scene in Edinburgh.
